NAUGATUCK HARVEST MOON FESTIVAL
RULES & REGULATIONS
By registering, vendors acknowledge the following information and accept these Rules and Regulations.
RULES
Naugatuck’s Annual Harvest Moon Festival will be held on the town green in downtown Naugatuck. Scheduled hours are Friday 11am to 8pm, and Saturday 9am to 8pm for the festival. Setup begins at 8am. Lights out on the green occurs at 9pm both evenings.
Registration fee is $90.00 per site, and covers both days (single day price is not available). The Harvest Moon Festival will happen rain or shine. No rain dates will be scheduled, and no refunds will be considered. Early Bird registration is available for returning vendors. Pricing subject to change without notice.
Each crafter/vendor will be assigned site number(s) that will correspond to the area where the crafter/vendor will set up. Vendors will register upon arrival each day at the Harvest Moon Tent in the center of the Green. DO NOT set up in advance of space assignment as you may be required to move if not in the correct assigned space. Vendors are required to list all displayed items and/or crafts on the registration. In order to control duplicates, only documented items on your registration will be allowed for sale. Items not listed will be admitted based on the sole discretion of the festival committee.
In order to maintain a true “arts and crafts” fair theme, no flea market or tag sale products will be admitted.
Vendors are limited to two booths of a single item or craft. Related items/crafts may be accepted on a first come, first served basis based on approval from the Harvest Moon Committee. No duplication of items, services or food items will be approved (excluding soft drinks).
Space is approximately 10’(Frontage) x 12’ (Deep) and will be assigned on a first come/first served basis. Overlap into other spaces or non-designated area is not allowed. You must make arrangements before the Harvest Moon Festival if you need additional space (fees may apply).
NO unapproved motor vehicles or over-sized vehicles will be allowed on the green or Division Street (police will take notice). Advance notification is required for all vehicles used to dispense any crafts or food items. After unloading, vehicles must be moved to a public parking area. Any unapproved vehicles in designated festival areas after specified set up time will be towed at owner’s expense.
Only designated Harvest Moon Festival areas are to be used. Plan on only using the Town Green and Division Street, and the electrical outlets on the Green. No exceptions will be allowed (enclosed map reflects festival area).
Electricity will be available on a limited basis in designated spaces for use by authorized vendors (based on registration). Electricity is limited to 10amps or less. EACH electrical space will be at a 10amp maximum. Any booth utilizing more than 10amps for heavy electrical service (i.e. crock-pots, coffee makers, etc) will be required to disconnect appliances if tripping of circuits occurs. If greater than 10 amps are required, special arrangements need to be communicated at the time of registration. Vendors must provide their own UL rated outdoor extension cord for connection. Electric cannot be guaranteed due to historical issues with circuit outages. We will make every effort to correct any power problems.
All vendors and crafters must supply their own tables and chairs. You may bring a small canopy or awning in case of rain.
Assistance with site setup is not available. Please make your own arrangements if assistance is needed.
⇒ All food booths must meet state and local Department of Health regulations and fire code, and must provide evidence of insurance. The local health department will be at the Festival on Friday to inspect all food vendors prior to opening. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure compliance with all state and local regulations. No refunds will be issued to vendors who fail to meet government guidelines and laws.
There will be a trash pickup. However, we do ask that you keep the area around your space as clean as possible, both during and after festival hours. Vendors are required to remove all trash and belongings post festival that do not fit in designated trash receptacles.
All pets must be kept on leashes while on Festival grounds. Pets should not be kept on vendor sites.
Deadline for returning the registration form is September 9. Remember space is limited and all vendors and crafters will be admitted on a first come first served basis.
